The bigger picture
Boreas Healing offers complete wellness workshops for individuals and groups, focusing on breathwork and cold immersion therapy. Working alongside the legend of ice baths, Wim Hof, the Boreas Healing team spreads awareness of the importance of breathwork and cold exposure within the wellness community.
Boreas Healing contacted us with the task of re-designing and re-purposing their website. One of their main goals for the new design was to gain independence and be able to facilitate bookings within their own platform.
The website that already existed lacked the display of the advantages and long-lasting effects of their offer. Being cold immersion fans ourselves, we were excited to take on the task of designing and developing the website.
A to Z web solution
During our onboarding and introduction stages, we discovered that a full web design service would include copywriting on our end. It would maximise the possibility of the website’s success in search engines and allow us to deliver the project within a shorter period.
The client had great professional visuals from the corporate events but lacked images from individual workshops. We stepped in to help them produce high-quality photos. This would allow them to visually attract all customers they advertise to.

A new approach to cold immersion
We stood in front of a very exciting challenge. We were able to expand our own knowledge while providing the client with a meaningful solution.
Our work started with thorough research on leading cold immersion coaches worldwide. It helped us understand better potential visitors and their expectations. We noticed a massive gap in the information flow and a lack of direct communication with the customer.
We decided to fill in the gap with a high-quality copy and deliver the information funnel that helps visitors make an informed decision by showcasing the benefits of responsible cold exposure and implementation of breathing techniques in day-to-day life.
Copy comes first
To start the actual design and development of the website, we first needed to tackle the copywriting task. While creating the heading and copy structure, we had to tick both boxes for on-page optimisation for search engines and sales funnel that builds trust.
Our main objective was to present facts about cold immersion and breathwork in an easy-to-digest format.
The extended FAQ questions on both individual workshops and private events pages allowing to answer any concerns that could arise.
We also decided to include a section within the workshops & event pages getting in-depth instructions and all necessary information for individuals to prepare for the class. Easily accessible guides on the website would hugely help the company with time management and communication with clients.
Crisp visuals & new beginnings
With smashing visuals from group events, we were challenged to deliver images of equal quality and purpose. We strived to assure the same experience for both individual and corporate clients.
We focused on capturing the essence of all pillars of workshops for individuals - drumming meditation, breath work session and an ice bath.
Bespoke and straightforward design
During the design process of the project, we decided on a straightforward layout rich in written content. The big (and fun) challenge was ahead of us.
Our main objective was to maintain the balance between the word-heavy format and the layout of the website. We decided to support the design with visuals, icons and a strong, spacious grid structure to assure that visitors can easily scan and navigate through the platform.

The events booking page provides independence from 3-rd party advertising platforms, which was the main goal for Boreas Healing at the start of the project.
